Educational Training

Acer's educational training program is built upon the foundations of the business operational strategies and business development plans. The goal of this program is to increase work skills, improve employee attitude and behavior, and eventually increase individual and teamwork efficiency. In these ways, educational training can ensure the long-term competitiveness of the company.

Educational training can be categorized into new employee training, general knowledge courses, specialized training, CEO development training, and e-Learning classes.

  • New employee training: introduces to new employees Acer's core values, organizational structure, work environment, and system processes; and assists new employees to adapt to the new environment and smoothly integrate into the work team.
  • General knowledge courses: the general classes are open to all employees regardless of rank or position. With Acer's core values as the foundation, fundamental skills are taught to improve employees' basic knowledge, skills, attitude and mentality; and cultivate service leadership, teamwork, work efficiency, communication and coordination, cost control measures, and English communication.
  • Specialized training: works to build on the specialized knowledge and skills of employees in every department, and can be divided into classroom training, on the job training, and outsource training.
  • CEO development training: low-, mid-, and upper level managers participate in training to improve decision-making, policy implementation, and problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • e-learning classes: an on-line learning platform has been set up to provide access to important lectures, policy discussions, and specialized training.
