The world's first mainstream quad-core UP server processor -- Intel® Xeon® Processor with Intel® Virtualization Technology and Intel® EM64T support -- delivers enhanced performance, reduced power use, and more efficient multitask processing.
Support for the following processors delivers leading performance at an economical cost: Intel® Xeon® Processor, Intel® Core™2 Duo processor , Intel® Core™2 Quad processor , Intel® Pentium® dual-core processor , and Intel® Centrino® processor technology 1.
Intel® Virtualization Technology allows the user to run multiple operating system environments on a single system -- enhancing the Altos G330 Mk2's appeal to SMBs looking to replace multiple PCs or servers used for different applications.
Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T ) gives Intel® Xeon® Processor and Pentium® processors access to greater amounts of memory than 4 GB, allowing an application to store vast amounts of data in the main memory and manipulate high-precision data more quickly.
With Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology, the system can dynamically adjust processor voltage and core frequency, resulting in less heat, improved acoustics and minimized power consumption.

Up to four Unbuffered DDR2 800 MHz ECC DIMMs for a total of 8 GB of system memory enable rapid execution of major SMB applications.
Integrated Gigabit Ethernet provides a huge data pipe for Internet or intranet use.
