The link below is to provide access for Acer's customers to upgrade the new version of Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. This Windows XP Professional x64 Edition is not provided by Acer. Microsoft is the proprietary owner of Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, while Mentor Media Ltd is the Authorized Replicator designated by Microsoft . Acer thus assumes no kinds of warranties regarding the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and will not provide corresponding application programs for the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Acer might provide you with relevant technical support or troubleshooting services at the then current charge designated by each local service center.
By participating in this program, your 32-bit version of Windows XP Professional will no longer be licensed.
The installation of Windows XP Professional x64 Edition requires you to format your hard drive. You must back up your files and settings prior to the installation or they will be erased. Neither Acer nor Microsoft is liable for any loss of data as a result of this installation.
Windows XP Professional requires 64-bit hardware drivers (32-bit drivers are not supported). Drivers for 64-bit Windows are created at the discretion of hardware manufacturers and may not be available for some of your hardware components.
Procedure:
Access the link below and submit your order f or Technology Advancement Software. The forementioned Authorized Replicator, Mentor Media Ltd., will charge you for the costs of Shipping and Handling and you have to pay by credit card between April 25, 2005 to July 31, 2005. Shipment will be prepared no later than August 31, 2005. Once you submit the order, you can not cancel it. No refund will be provided after the order is submitted.
